Saint Elizabeth University Joins SAGE Scholars Tuition RewardsSaint Elizabeth University, which recently used $347,000 in American Rescue Plan federal funds to pay off the debt of 116 full-time undergraduate students, enabling them to continue their education, has joined the SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards program. 95 Catholic colleges and universities now participate in the largest U.S. private college enrollment consortium.

Founded in 1899 by the Sisters of Charity, SEU welcomes students of all backgrounds to a campus in Morristown, NJ, an hour's train ride from New York City. An 11:1 student-faculty ratio guarantees small classes and individual attention to 800 undergraduates. Art, biology, business administration, criminal justices, nursing and psychology are among the most popular of the more than 25 undergraduate majors. SEU offers 16 masters' degree and two doctoral programs. The University is home to The Center for Holocaust and Genocide Education.

LendEDU rates SEU as one of the nation's best schools for financial aid-- No. 2 among all New Jersey colleges, public and private, in 2020. U.S. News and World Report this year ranked SEU No. 1 among all New Jersey colleges for social mobility. SEU's "Promise Program" provides a six-month paid internship for full-time undergraduate students who are not employed or in graduate school within six months after graduation.

Founded in 1899, SEU became coed in 2016. The University began offering a doctorate degree in psychology (Psy.D.) in 2017. The SEU Medical Simulator Center, used by undergraduate nursing students and physician's assistant masters' candidates, opened in 2018. Formerly known as College of Saint Elizabeth, the school became a university in 2020.

SEU is launching a comprehensive Esports program this fall, complete with a state-of-the-art gaming facility and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering (focused on game development and design). Offering 12 NCAA Division III varsity teams, SEU is the 9th Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) member to participate in SAGE Tuition Rewards.
