Whitworth University Joins SAGE Tuition Rewards

Flocking to the 200-acre Spokane, Washington campus from 30 states and 42 countries, Whitworth attracts more than 2,200 undergraduate students. The University has invested $140 million in campus improvements in recent years. The largest projects were the William P. & Bonnie V. Robinson Science Hall ($32 million) and the Cowles Music Center addition and renovation ($13.5 million).
Whitworth students can choose from more than 100 majors and programs - or design their own major. Popular majors include biology, business, computer science, elementary education, natural science and psychology. Almost half of students study abroad. An 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio enables small classes. U.S. News & World Report ranks Whitworth tied for #1 in the West for the quality of undergraduate teaching.
Athletes comprise nearly 20% percent of the student body -- participating in 21 varsity sports. Several teams frequently achieve NCAA Division III tournament-quality. A high percentage of students (68.5%) graduate in four years – well-above the national average. Founded in 1890, Whitworth is one of 58 SAGE members affiliated with the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
