Albertus Magnus College Joins SAGE Tuition Rewards

Albertus Magnus College Joins SAGE Tuition RewardsConnecticut’s Albertus Magnus College, small by design and personal in nature, has become the 88th Catholic college to join the SAGE Tuition Rewards program. Nearly 400 colleges are now members of the nation’s largest private college & university enrollment consortium.

A four-year liberal arts college located in the vibrant heart of southern Connecticut, Albertus provides 500 traditional undergraduates with opportunities to prepare for meaningful careers through experiential learning. The faculty is readily accessible; teachers and staff know students on an individual basis. The college offers 50 majors, minors and concentrations; Art Therapy, Business, Criminal Justice, Communications, Education, Psychology and Sociology are among the most popular choices.

Founded in 1925 by the Dominican Sisters of Peace, Albertus educates men and women to become leaders. About 60% of students live in campus housing converted from former mansions in a residential New Haven neighborhood. The 50-acre, garden-like campus - entirely wireless, offering multiple computer labs - includes Bree Common, which houses classrooms, a Starbucks, an atrium and patio for student gatherings and study. New York City and Boston are easily reached by train; Tweed New Haven Airport provides service to more than 300 destinations.

Campus activities include 25 student clubs and organizations. The Fearless Falcons compete at the NCAA Division III level in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference. The Shea Softball Complex is a new addition. A survey of recent Albertus graduates found that 95% were either employed or in graduate school six months after graduation.
