Saint Augustine's University (SAU) was established in 1867 in Raleigh, NC by the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina. A four-year liberal arts university with an average enrollment of approximately 1,000, SAU sits on 105 lush acres just north of Downtown Raleigh. Saint Augustine's offers more than 20 undergraduate degree programs and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
One of the South's oldest Historically Black Colleges and Universities, SAU offers students a choice of 20+ majors and 15+ minors. Among the most popular are business; kinesiology and exercise science; non-profit and public management; sociology; and, sports and fitness management.
